ANY input on the MPC501 series?

I love the mpc300 to mpc401 series but they are fading away on lease returns.
I hate the mpc305 series and have only 2 out there that work.
Looking at the mpc501 it looks more like the mpc3003 design on the exterior.
    How is the engine design?
    Do they hold up?
    thanks
