ap3800 not loading toner. keeps asking for yellow and black toner sumtimes. this is like after every ten prints the message flashes up. devs have done nearly 40k. expect the devs to last till bout 60k. all pipes have been vacd out. there isnt much toner in the dev unit hole where it drops into. could it be the supply pump??is this a common fault on these machines?

Not a common problem but I've had this issue (as I have posted in another thread) mostly with the cyan toner supply pump. You can clean out the units or replace. If you are going to the hastle of stripping the unit down you would be best replacing the toner supply pumps. -
The pumps were actually a fairly common problem in the beginning. I used to change them somewhat often. For some reason the black one was popular for me. We did have a lot of them out though.
As I recall (rusty brain), I think they modified them to be more reliable. Check the bulletins. I am pretty sure there was something on this issue.
