    MP3054 making a copy job .

    Hi,

Don't know if possible, but customer askes this question:

a set originals needs to be copied on different paper, before he had an Konica where he saved a copy job, he created this job, for example

a set of 5 originals, original 1 and 2 must come out cass 1, number 3 and 4 comes out cass 2, and the last out of cass 3.
He stored this copy job temperorarily to make a large number of copies of that set.

Is this possible to create such a copy job on any Ricoh machine?

Looked in the manuals but can't find it . . .

    anyone?
    Thanks in advance

    gr George

It is called batch mode. It allows selecting different trays and whether one sided or two sided. It should be in the operators manual. If it is something that has to be done frequently it can be saved as a special program. You might even be able to put the special program as a home screen selection.

As techs, we tend to refer to service manuals before most anything else.

Never overlook user materials when it comes to the actual use of the machine. Often that is the only place the info exists, as it is not actual service information.

FWIW, another frequently ignored resource is the PSG (Product Support Guide) for the specific model. There is a wealth of useful little nuggets there.

Absolutely agree. User manuals are bookmarked on both of my work and home(I know it sucks but don't care) PCs.

The product support guide is smaller and therefore faqster to open than the parts catalog and usually has all the maintenance paats listed as well PM kit numbers.
