    IMC3500. Smart Card reader

    Hi,

Had to disable the smart card reader from this IMC3500.
So ordered an new corner cover and swopped it with the one with the reader on it.

Just cut the cable to it and powered it on.
Now it gives the message. " The card authentication device is not connected"

Had done this al lot on MPC3004's , no message after that.

Someone a clue how ro disable the message?

    Thanks in advance

    gr George

Hi, sorry for digging the old thread, but kindly let me ask what changes did you make in network/interface adjustments. Have the same issue with IMC3000.

      Regards

Oww indeed an old thread, from what I remember there was a setting to disable the card reader in "system settings > administrator settings . .
