ricoh 2232c optional fax problem

hello i am new here.i hope someone help me.
i have a problem with the fax card of my copy machine.
it is used from usa.it works but i can't send or recieve fax.
is it possible to need any further settings

If it won't send or receive, it's NOT working.

Country Code is set on Fax SC/System Switch/OF......
Probably more settings. Dig out your manual and search for Country Code, this will lead you to the settings for your region.

The reason is that phone protocols differ from country to country.

In your SM toward the end you should have the manuals for the options. Fax Option B603 located just after the Booklet Finisher section.

It is in the main manual for the MFP as stated above. At least in mine it is.

2232c manuals were removed from ricoh.com. Seems a bit early in the product's life to pull them. You can probably call customer service to purchase them.
