    SC 362-03 ON a RICOH MPC4503

I have a mpc4503 that customer wants me to ck out.
Will not clear sc362 code magenta developer code.
As I recall this machine was running light in density on magenta color.
Meter is close to 400k so i am going to inspect unit later today.
Not sure if changing the developer powder would be an option.
2ND does the magenta dev unitD186-3073 come with developer powder?
    thanks

customer is cheap as hell and i just need to get him running.
he has been using a damaged fuser belt for the last 16 months which gives a reprint mark
on copies..When it breaks completly is when he will change it..

Not sure where you got these specs, but mine from the product support guide show that both the colour dev units and Drums are rated for 270K, while The K-dev unit is rated for 600k and drum for 400K

No separate Ricoh developer with these units, you have to buy the whole dev unit. Something to consider, it could also be the toner pump has failed.
ALTHOUGH, I just did a search and these people offer an aftermarket bag of developer. I have no idea if it's any good or not.

I have a source for the dev that I buy a lot of parts and supplies for Ricoh, and have a really good luck.
A lot of their products, while listed as generic, I'm convinced are Original Products, and some even come with the familiar Ricoh product code labeling.
              Ricoh Magenta Developper OEM

My Cdn $ cost is about $70, so that's probably about $10 U.S.

I bought a bag of C3503 Dev from them a while ago to give it a try, but couldn't figure out how to get the damn unit apart to empty/ refill it
All I managed to do was break a bunch of plastic clips, and make it unusable, so if anyone that may have done it in the past has any advice or instructions to share, I'd really appreciate it.

I think that is why Ricoh does not sell just the developer.
