    403 Forbidden - IP access control range issue

    Hey all...I know what the issue is and fix, but I can't find my notes or old post on the copytechnet website (haven't figured out this new site, are old forums deleted?).

    Anyways, I need to know the command lines in Putty to reset the access control range. Does anyone have that? This is for a Ricoh MP C307 and 3504, don't think that matters though.

    Thanks for you help in advance!

    These are the notes I created for myself several years ago when I first ran across the issue:
    TELNET:
    * To access the Device make sure telnet is activated on the PC via Programs & Features, then "Turn Windows features on/off"
    * To access device simply type telnet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (ip address of machine) [ENTER]
    * Use usual credential to login
    * type Access flush (ENTER)
    * type logout (enter), then type yes (ENTER) to save changes

    ?

    Hope it helps

      Do you know the approximate date when the old post was started?

        Sandman that is exactly what I needed! I almost remembered but tried access clear Thank you!

        And slim i'm not positive, a couple of years ago at least. I've clicked on several posts from copytechnet when I do a Google search and everything so far tells me the URL link is invalid or removed, so I haven't been able to search a lot of previous forums, wasn't sure if that was a bug or if they are deleted.

        Many thanks

          {quote]hanks for the recommendation. It's a work in progress but we're starting to see results, Google has our sitemaps and is busy indexing everything. We've also made good progress on removing bad results. We tested with the Panasonic forum and now we're just waiting for Google to finish removing the rest of the bad URLs. You can test by Googling "site:copytechnet.com Panasonic" and see results with just about 100% working links. It will take a while for Google to get everything reindexed but at least the bad links issue should quiet down.?{/quote]
