Try SP 5810. You're not the first one to transpose the last two digits.

Tim's right, and it's 5810-002, and you'll also need to install a PICO fuse on that fuser first in order to reset it - unless it's a brand new fuser (which I doubt).

:Like I said, you were not the first one and most likely won't be the last.

Had a C4502 that would not reset and had to replace thermostats and all fuses - everything in the fuser and it started working. Not sure what the trouble was but it went away.

I ripped a door switch out of a MP 201 extra tray and ripped a long length of thin wire from something else, took a old fuse, cut the fuse off the connector, soldered everything up.

You can plug said fuse connector / wire switch contraption into the fuser your trying to rescue, carefully close the door after doing 5810 / reboot. With a MP 201 switch, if i recall the switch was closed the button was not pressed so you waited 2 seconds after closing the door and then held the button down. The machine would return to life and if that fuser was actually ok the machine works afterwards.

I was on a training course for MP C3004 and told the instructor i made one of those up. He plugged his ears and closed his eyes and went na na na na

There was a discussion on that here on CTN a few years ago.
