Dim screen on mpc2003. How to adjust screen brightness?

Hi, mpc2003 panel background of the screen is dim, could someone know to set screen brightness?THx

copier has a dim feature on display if turn on will cause to go dim after a while you press on display and it comes back to full brightness. to turn off or adjust brightness do the following . Press user tools / screen features/display/brightness then adjust it and here where you can turn off dim feature.

I don't think you can change screen brightness on this model.

Does it have the normal Op Panel, or does it have the 1st Generation Smart Op Panel?

If it's the normal (standard) screen, then you cannot change the "brightness" of the screen, but you can change the Color of it, so it might appear brighter.
User Tools --> System Settings --> General Features --> Screen Color.

If it's the Smart Op panel, then you might be able to, but I don't have much experience with the 1st gen SOP's.

I have been looking everywhere in user tools, and do not believe it is a setting on this model either. I've barely seen any 1st generations SOPs either, so cannot help if it's that panel

I have seen a few and I do not remember a brightness adjustment.

If it is the standard (not smartpanel) model, my guess is that the lcd backlight is toast.

Just checked one of our machines - there is no brightness setting anywhere.
