Scan to email using Gmail

Hi,

I get an error when I install scan to email on an MPC3003.
the correct user en password is filled in the email fiels, also dns 8.8.8.8
When I do the connecting test within the SMTP settings it is Ok! There is connection with the SMTP server

But scanning to my account gives an error from my gmail saying that gmail has blokked because of an unknown user . .

anybody nows how to disable this blockage within the Gmail account?

Might check to see if "Allow Less Secure Apps" is turned off (should be on). That will block the copier from sending via gmail. Also make sure you are using smtp.gmail.com SSL on and port 465. Sometimes its easy to miss the little things

Allow less secure Apps was the solution! Thnx!
