Hey Thanks, I created it on an SD card from an MP4055 ... Did a "Backup"...First formatted the card... I've done this many many times, but never to an IM4000... I am going to try it on another unit and see what happens.

But how was the Backup actually done. Through WIM or through SP?

Hello, I just tried it on a C4504 and it worked fine... I think this IM4000 has some issues...Why is there no selection to change it to "Classic Screen" ??? Some of the selection tabs just not there...I thought the firmware upgrade would help, but, NOOOOOO

I just go thru the "user Tools" , "System", "Admin Tools" , and use the Tab "Backup, Restore: User Custom Settings...Then right to "Restore" or "Backup"

If I remember correctly that method is not available on all models and where it is it is intended for cloning multiple machines going to the same customer.

For end user Backup/Restore use WIM. The file created can be loaded to another machine. It should be repeated anytime there are any changes to the address book. There is also a utility that will convert that to a .csv file to import to LANFax.

For trained tech, use SP5-846-051 (Backup All Addr Book) to download to an SD card and SP5-846-052 (Restore All Addr Book) to restore
