    IM C Series Toner Threshhold

I want to turn on low toner alert when the toner level drops below 2 grams. Which SP modes should be changed? Service manual doesn't provides sufficient detail on SP3110 etc.

I don't have a IM C service manual to check but for previous models SP 3110 is pretty much self explanatory. Just be careful as to how low you set it. As an example, if 65 grams is 17% near end warning I would not set below 15 grams or you are going to have customers running out of black before you can get them a new bottle.

Why do you want to do this?
As Slim said, customer might fall out of toner without having a spare one...

If they keep a spare of each we set the threshold low - Stops customers swapping them with a quarter left in the bottle when they see the message. But if they're low users I'd probably not touch it.

No amount of telling them that 'it won't make a difference to copy quality' makes a difference for some

Do you use the auto email notification for toner end?

I'm guessing it's through @remote, so not something I look at but yes we know when toners have been used/fitted for most customers. A few just won't go on @remote but luckily they tend to be small businesses who give us a ring when they're low

Then setup Email Notifications. Done through WIM. Uses Email not @remote.

Re: IM C Series Toner Threshhold

This is a small business, we have kept some extra toners with IT. I want the notifications to be sent only when toner bottle is almost empty. In previous models this was easy to do with SP 3110-01 to 3110-04, IMC series has extra SP like SP3110-11 (Near end thresh 2), 3110-21 (NE thresh 2 upper limit, 3110-031 (NE thresh 2 lower limit, 3112-002 (Near end thresh 2 (Day) etc. Service manual doesn't provide enough information.

Use WIM and set up Email notifications. You can set multiple destinations to either individuals or groups in the address book. For each destination you can set multiple conditions to notify about including various toner levels, paper jams, error (SC) codes, paper tray status, etc.

                    +1.
You could set the toner limit to 10% before it start to flash message.
