Hi all,
I have a client who has a Ricoh MPC5000, they use user code authentication for printing. They have a PCL6 driver loaded on their Win2003 server which all the users add as their local network printer. User code printings works fine in this environment. When they are logging on to a Citrix session they are using the Citrix universal print driver to print. When the user goes to print eg a word doc with colour the universal print driver pops up, at the buttom left hand corner there is a local settings button which they click and can make changes to the printing preferences of the driver. Inside there is the usercode which enables them to print as the universal printer driver v4.0 picks up the setting from the local network driver installed on the client PC and are able to print. Recently their IT department have created a new Citrix farm were they are slowly moving users into (Presentation server v4.5) and the users that have been moved into this farm are no longer able to print with exactly the same setup except the fact that are using a different version universal printer driver (v4.5). If I turn off user code authentication on the MFP the doc prints, if on, the job just gets deleted. Somehow it is unable to pick up the usercode info from the local network printer. The IT department have no ricoh drivers loaded on the citrix server and only want to use the above method. Any ideas what could be causing this or is my understanding of how this all working incorrect. Many thanks in advance.

Working Citrix farm = v4.0
same setup new farm = v4.5
