S/MIME and GMAIL connection

    S/MIME and GMAIL connection

    Hi, guys. As you know, to configure scan-to-mail on Ricoh devices you need SSL (for GMAIL). Ricoh doesn't support SSL.
    But the latest devices (MP2550-3350-4000-5000), has S/MIME function for scan-to-mail. For my knowledge, S/MIME and SSL connection are two different things. I cannot configure MP4000 with S/MIME to comunicate with GMAIL.
    Please give me your opinion.
