    MPC407 fuse for the fuser

Hello, First time I am going to rebuild the fuser with new heat sleeve and pressure roller on this type model. I'm reading in the service manual that I need to replace the fuse. The original fuser does NOT have a fuse currently installed. Later I found in the service manual "If there is no fuse for new unit detection (such as in the fusing unit that comes with the machine from the factory), install a fuse." My problem is there is NO part number listed in the parts catalogue. Cannot find any during a web search. Even tried to see if a fuse from the MPC5502 would work but the connector is different. Any help. thanks

If you order a new fusing sleeve from Ricoh the fuse should be taped in the bottom of the box. I have heard of receiving clerks removing the sleeve from the box and leaving the fuse in the box so that it gets thrown out with rest of the packing material. BTW are you rebuilding the fusing because because of an error code just due to PM count or torn sleeve? The fuse is for resetting the error code. No error code. no fuse needed.

Box says Ricoh genuine part and I checked in the box, no fuse. Actually, the fuser is wrinkling pages. No error code. So, cool no fuse needed. Thanks for the tip. I'll test and update.
