Has anyone tried to physically remove bluetooth from 1 of these machines? Or maybe some other newer Ricoh? The service manual mentions removing the bluetooth module in the op panel section.

Yes.
SOP SP mode.
Apps
Install
Uninstall.
It's one of the first things I do when I pickup any used machine with an SOP (which is ALL of them nowadays):
I uninstall ALL unnecessary stuff that is redundant to my customers and doesn't apply to the services that I can provide.
That means IC Card dispatcher/ Proximity card reader/ Bluetooth plugin/ ALL of the support Options (3 or 4), Etc., Etc.
There's usually at least a dozen or more that I remove.👍 3 -
We have a MP4055 here I tried that on...the display interface was different on the user version for the IMC3500.
I got this picture sent to me from Ricoh 1 of the times I asked them. When I did those steps on the MP4055 it left the Bluetooth on the op panel when I went to User Tools then screen settings. But when I tried to turn it on it sort of just sits there saying it was looking for something than it never turned on. Like it timed out something. You do not have permission to view this gallery.
