Ricoh IM series cannot access application site

HI I picked up a few lease returns but they had some heavy security and card readers on them.

Issue 1. From the SOP we cannot access the application site. It just beeps and cant get into all the apps or firmware update from there. Not sure if there is an SP that blocks access to the site.

Issue 2. SOP will not display all apps. seems unit was being used somewhere with high security. I have tried to initialize the home screen but does not work. I cannot access the application site on this unit either. I am updating firmware now from the SP modes hoping for a miracle.
There are multiple extended features but they are all greyed out so I cannot delete them. Any advice is appreciated.

    Thanks

Sounds like you have picked up some machines formerly leased to the US Government. Prior to returning to the leasing company they erase all data and set the network security level back to the lowest level. Any other settings changed while at the higher setting are not returned to default and may the higher setting in order to see them and change them.

        1. Login as the appropriate administrator
        2. Go to Settings, used to be User Tools
        3. System Settings
        4. Administrator Settings
        5. Second or third page you should see Network Security

We also buy off lease machines and Ive ran into similar situations. Try going into system settings, administrator tools and look for erase all memory, format that should reset everything back to default settings.
