Thanks for your engagement! I've made a list of non default- unfortunately I don't see anything there that could be causing this error:
      * RICOH MP C307
      *Part Number "D2965450K"
      *Firmware Version "1.26"

Here is a link to the report - I wanted to paste the content here but the post would be too long:

I'm still leaning towards an Android bug, because the bug is closing the settings2 app on Android - below is a photo of the bug.

I'll probably try an Android factory reset - I hope all the apps are in the package (D2965451E.pkg). Is there anything I should pay attention to or prepare for this procedure?

Try Screen Device Settings or WIM. Somewhere there is an Administrator setting for the type of External Authentication Device. It tells the system what type and often make and model external device it is programmed to use. Currently it is probably programmed for 2. It needs to be changed back to the Default of 0, None.

I think you are talking about this setting:

unfortunately when I click on IC card/bluetooth software settings I get this error.

          I also found in:
          SP5113-1
          SP5113-2
I have 0 (none) in both.

I can't get to this menu because I have an error:
              Settings2 has stopped.

Can you get into WIM? If you don't know what WIM is then you shouldn't be trying to work on a Ricoh.

Of course I know what WIM is, I can get in/log in. I have user authorization disabled. I also looked through all the options - I don't see the setting anywhere. The only related option is: Program/Change USB Device List - I have everything empty. Image:

Thank you all for your engaged, especially slimslob.

Today I decided to do a factory reset SOP - via Android recovery menu - for posterity - I confirm that in the firmware package (from RFUT there are all applications, including the Android system). In order to update Android itself, you need to unpack the m2a_system.zip file from the firmware package to the memory card. The applications must be unpacked from the firmware package to the App directory.

I tried with two different versions of the system (system 1.50 and system 1.53) - unfortunately the settings2 error remained Well, I guess I will have to live with this error. Unless someone else has an idea?

I did reverse engineering - it looks like the settings2 package is trying to run the package: jp.co.ricoh.advop.iccd
Which fails and that's why the settings2 package is stopped. It fails because this package is not in the Android I have (firmware D2965451E.pkg and D2965451C.pkg from RFUT).

Could someone share the firmware from another source?

Even a much older version - then I will extract the appropriate package from the firmware file. Alternatively, could someone share the jp.co.ricoh.advop.iccd package itself?

Ricoh MPC307 printer - thank you!!!

jp.co.ricoh.advop.iccd ia not a package firmware or any type of firmware. It is a widget. The jp.co.ricoh indicates that it is issued by Ricoh Japan. One of the best ways to work with widgets was to use the SOP Designer Tool, if it is still available for the version SOP you have.

Once again, thank you for your involvement in helping me solve my problem. You are the only active person in this thread.

Please excuse the naming convergence - here you are talking about firmware packages, I am talking about the Android package. jp.co.ricoh.advop.iccd is an Android package (many Android packages are visible as an application or widget after installation)- maybe it is visible as a widget - I don't know because I don't have this package. Of course, I will check the solution provided and come back with an answer. There are many such packages, in the firmware I have, among others:
                          jp.co.ricoh.advop.settings2 - this package stops
                          jp.co.ricoh.advop.auth
                          jp.co.ricoh.advop.monitorservice
                          jp.co.ricoh.advop.settingsroot
                          jp.co.ricoh.advop.serverservice
                          and many others.

I figured out the problem by decompiling the package: jp.co.ricoh.advop.settings2 and analyzing the source code. Nevertheless, I repeat my request for firmware from another source - it can also be from another machine with SOP G2 (from what I know, my machine has G2)

                          Thanks in advance!

Complete success - everything works. As I suspected, the jp.co.ricoh.advop.iccd package was missing. I found this package in another firmware, I managed to extract it. For posterity, I leave it here.
