Howdy folks! As they say, long time listener first time caller. This site has been an amazing resource, I really appreciate the knowledge collective you all have built here, amazing.
Anywho, I've worked with Ricohs for about 10 years (been in IT for more than double that, gives me the willies typing that), mostly in the setup/configuration side, very little break/fix. It came up this week that the company I work for is going to require all printer devices log to a syslog server. The HPs all have a field to direct to a specific server IP. As far as I know the Ricohs will only display this info in a browser through the system log link in configure device. You can't actually point it to a server, unless it's Ricoh's central management server product they sell. Can some one smarter than me confirm this? Or is this setting hidden somewhere in the Service mode menus?
Thanks again for all the assists over the years
