I have a C7110X that intermittently will not fuse ,the machine will cycle saying its adjusting fuser temperature, then after say 3 minutes of this will start the print job and everything that comes out is smeared from not fusing, doesnt matter what media from plain paper to 100lb cover, swapped entire Fusing unit with a rebuilt unit same issue, updated firmware, same issue, replaced fusing roller pressure motor assembly, same issue, ideas??

Have you gone into SP mode and monitored fusing temperatures? Sounds like the temperature of something is fading quickly and slow to warm back up. Usually the pressure roller. Often because someone put a 220 volt lamp in a 120v machine. -

Check the fuser connectors inside the device cavity . Just in case they're dirty / damaged or have paper stuck in them.Comment

I have encountered one similar issue with the small piece of paper stuck and sitting on the inside of the female connector.Comment
