If it has optional PS Unit installed install the PS driver, if no PS is installed the rubbish generic PCL6 driver. Both available from ricoh-support.com

The PCL emulation should be available on the the Apple without installing anything. The Generic PCL Printer comes with all Apple OS. You just have to know where and how to find it. The only thing is that it knows absolutely nothing about options like paper trays, duplex and finishing. Newer Mac versions have no way of designating Color and B/W.

Had to do a quick google on that model.

Printer languages are not my area of expertise at all, but brochure states it's GDI only.
That seems to me that it might need a bit of "tweaking" on a Mac, although it does state that it supports mobile print with MAC Airprint.

If it supports Airprint then that is the way to go. My understanding of GDI, Graphic Device Interface, is that the computer has to talk directly to the engine of the printer, no controller board, no IPU.
