    Ricoh IMC5500 vs MPC5504

    Hiya Folks.

Am looking at upgrading some machines and wanted to know if anyone would have any views on the IMC range like the IMC5500 compared to the MPC 04 range like the MPC 5504. Drums Better or anything else they have done to improve it, eg transfer belt.?

    Thanks loads for any input.

    Timmytronic.

Only plus side is complete PCDU's are cheaper. Fuser is a bit more of a pain to take apart, different sleeve, transfer belts still disintegrate if you let the devs go over life. Touch screen is more fragile because there is no grey bezel now, it's just a flat piece of glass like a tablet.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

      Hiya

Thanks for getting back to me, so different door as usual from Ricoh and that's about it :-) Good news on the drums but I have a few drums for the 04's in at the mo so no bonus in upgrading as such yet.

Thanks for the likes as well from Slim. Always nice to get his approval.
