ricoh FT6645 sc302 error

i\'m a mita/cs tech and have a friend that has a ricoh ft6645 with a sc302 code. can someone guide me in the right direction as i have no manuals on this beast. it\'s the only one i\' ve ever worked on and i\'m basically lost. can someone give me the corrective action and if i have to reset code, how do i do that? any help would be appreciated as i am quite the novice on this machine.

hmy: This code is typically a charge corona problem. Either a charge leak or a problem with the charge wire cleaner. Power off/on should reset after the cause is corrected. :evil:

this code reset upon turning of and on. the problem is the charge corona. check the contacts, springs and wires. If all are of leave the charge in the dr unit open the top cover(1 screw) you will see a contact touching the casing of tne charge unit remove it and clean it. Toner build on this causes poor grounding.
