i forgot about this one but in the damp dungeon i have this mpc6000 or it might even be a mpc6001(?), i installed the peltier unit off of a 3260 and have had way fewer calls for cq issues. i would advise anyone who has had recurring cq issues to do this.

i wanted to update for anyone else who has tried the peltier unit from a 3260. it seems to be helping cq issues so far, i still get some toner scattering but not as bad. i still don't believe the developer will go the yields stated.

OK, ptrflrs, you got me stumped, how did you connect the Peltier Control Board from a 3260 to the IOB on a MP C7500 ???

its easy when all the harnesses are already on the machine. i believe they are still using the original wiring harness from the 3260 on this model. if u check the product support guide or service manual you will see where it says that the peltier unit has been removed from the newer model and that u can order it as a part (option) also the frimware still has all the support settings for it. it works well. i think they were trying to save a buck with this model.
