mpc307 with sc636-01 code.. can NOT Super SP Mode SP5-401-160 to change

OK SO I PICKED UP A LOW METER MPC307 OFF LEASE that was not able to get past looking for card authentication, which no card with machine.
machine would not go into service mode nor SSP MODE.
DID NOT ALLOW me to log on to normal loggin nor supervisor..PITA..
i finally was able to get SSP MODE AND RESET THE PASSWORDS to log in when attempting to access user modes.
i did disable "not uninstall card reader, java and some other add ons that i never see on normal units..
Afterwards machine still asks to authenticate after 2-3 mins and trying to get back to user tools>machine settings and extended settings does not
open. When i finally wait n log in via keyboard i can get to machines setting>extended settings and then it codes out sc636-01.
I was unable to log in via WIM and think if it codes out once i get in it will block me from uninstalling card reader...i can not no matter how i try find sp 5401-160..
    i did sp5113-1 and 2
    sp5801 2-11 and redid hdd..
am i at the point of rewriting the nvram with other working machine?
    i have the birth sheet..

can i go sp5824-01 to upload the nvram image and then transfer the mpc407 image to my mpc307?

Since you have the birth certificate, after backing up the NVRam as a safety precaution I would try a complete memory clear 5801-001.

The problem with machines that previously had any type of external authentication device often is that without the original installation instructions it is nearly impossible to know all the steps that need to be reversed and the order they must be done.

Some extended feature applications required that the SD card remain in the machine. Looking in Gooses guide for SC636-01 missing, wrong or defective SD card was one of the causes. Memory wipe might be the only way to correct.

          thanks
i fight more in the past year with added options on lease returns than real service type issues.
Why did they do away sp 5610-04 factory reset?
I dont know if coding out while trying to copy to sd card will stop the transfer?
i gotta dig thru n find a sd card laying around.

              NEW DAY same problem
I BACKED UP NVRAM WITH SP5824 TO SDCARD AND REBooted and did a full memory clear, format HDD and repower machine..
same problem"preparing the card authn.device on screen.
is this app possible locked on SOP?
              SWAP SOP?

You didn't mention the SOP. I believe that there is a factory restore for the SOP. Try doing a full SOP power off. Shut off with the SOP power button, unplug the power cord and immediately press and hold the power button until the power LED blinks. This discharges all stored energy in the android computer of the SOP. When the power cord is plugged back in the android service menu will be displayed. One of the options should be the factory reset for the SOP. It will clear all apps, widgets etc. that have been added since it left the factory.

thanks i didnt think mpc30 came w/out SOP.
I did all memory clear and afterwards as it made no difference i put machine as was before the 5801 action.
I can into sop service mode but I never get to factory reset or anything like that.
i know there was info having to have SOP on normal mode etc etc..
so far just a headache sucking away time better served doing real work...
anytime i am able to press extended settings it comes up with sc code and i cant enable or uninstall anything...
i can not go past juser code until i type in log in password..

With SOP, some card readers are enabled via User Tool / Settings > Screen Features Settings > Screen Device Settings > External Interface Software Settings > Select IC Card Reader; set it to Do Not Use.
