    scan to sftp.

    Hi,

the security for the server is very strict. they only enable sftp for the scanning. We are not allowed to add any third party software into the server like file zilla to work as sftp scanning as well. is there any windows built in sftp solution for the scan?

I will look forward to your reply.

    thanks

I believe that SFTP uses a different port that FTP so that will have to be set. It also uses at least SSL and possibly might require installing a specific security certificate that the server recognizes.

You can also setup an FTPS server natively in Windows through IIS. Keep in mind that FTPS and SFTP are two different protocols.

Installing a secure FTP server on Windows using IIS :: WinSCP

If security is such a premium why aren't they using SMB, which offers much better security features, including encryption with SMB 3.

The USB2.0/SD SLOT option is available for all three of those models. The W2401 will also require the File Format converter in not already installed. If you cannot get the USB2.0/SD option, just make the SP settings in the installation instructions and you can use the USB connector that the instructions say to connect the option to. You can also use a USB extension cable to bring the connection up to the front of the machine. I believe you can also use a SD to USB adapter.
