Sc 285-02, IMC2500

Replaced itb unit and all density sensors. Still fails color registration and forced line 2111-4. Error code hasn't shown up for me, just seeing multiples on smc.

Ricoh says laser or pcu's, but both have been replaced in last two months.

Any ideas?

SC285 is a line position failure. You're not seeing the SC because you are experiencing the actual failure, i.e. the color registration and forced line 2111-4 failures. First thing is to make certain that the ID sensor assembly is properly cleaned. If that was the problem, when process control runs at power up it will correct the line position.

If not it might be far enough out to require manual adjustment
