Ricoh IM 6000 Locked Print pop up dialog window

On Konica equipment, there is a feature called Secure Print. When selected, the print jobs go to the Secure Print button on the machine. When the printer is installed, I can go to the Settings tab and enable "Secure Print Only" and have the driver pop up a dialog box everytime a person prints for them to enter their Secure print info. If this printer is shared, those settings carry over.

Trying to do the same with a Ricoh IM6000. I think on Ricoh's it is called Locked Print. Works fine but cant see where I can force the pop up windonw to force the users t enter their secure print info every time. I see how to enable pop ups for everything else such as User Authentication and job classification but not Locked Print. Even in the Ricoh Print Configurator NX, I don't see this option. Perhaps I am not understanding Ricoh terms and it is not Locked Print that I want.

Issue is this customer has over 150 workstations with multiple users on each so we cant store a secure print code in the driver. We need it to pop up a request every time they print.

    Any suggestions or guidance?

I used that utility as well and was able to do pop up Windows for things such job classification, Authentication but not for Locked jobs. Petty much the same options that are in the print driver itself.

Ok, I think I have working what I need to have working.

Drbing, I was not wanting to use Authentication but here is what I did though it was not intutitive... at least not to this Konica guy

Below is how I configured the printer on the server and it will be shared and pushed out to all 150+ workstations.
              1. Under Advanced Options tab
                1. Select Job Type/Code Dialog Settings
                2. Check for “Display {Change Job Type} Dialog Before Printing
              2. Under the Advanced Tab
                1. Select printing Defaults
                2. Change Job Type to Locked Print
                3. For User ID, can either select “Create Own Code” or “Windows Login Name”
                4. In the Password box, enter any four digits. User will need to enter their own four digits when they submit print jobs.

Thanks for the input and support.

Hi I had this quickly written up yesterday but not sure why it did not send.

It seems like exactly what you've done.
