    AF-2090

It's just a copier with 6 million clicks and it suffers from columns of smears on copies and 20,21,69 jam codes.
I replaced duplex tray components such as clutch, entrance sensor,turn/decision buffles, drive rolls,solenoids...to avoid jam codes,i spent my life there!!
Do you have any experience with smears...or a solution maybe??
    Thanks for any input...

How are the consumable meters? I've seen toner back up in the waste section, or paper jammed under the blade cause smearing. Also could be from the fuser.

IIRC, those jam codes are duplex/turn over related. Check the fuser exit section on the bottom. Make sure the metal plate that guides the paper down makes contact with both magnets in the front and the back and that it's not bent. Users can bend this up over time, especially with a high milage unit. Also make sure the white idlers in this section are clean and turning freely.
the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.
Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.
Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed.

I think that you may have two different problems, but they seem interrelated. The smearing could be coming from the drum, as Cobiray has said, and I would also look at the switchback area at the fuser to make sure the paper is smoothly entering the duplex unit. The paper guides that move fore and aft in the duplex unit can get hung up and cause guide problems for the paper as it does its turnover in the duplex unit.

Since those codes are turnover related, were you able to identify whether the machine jams by turning the paper over with two or more originals, when it does its switchback, or will it jam when you duplex only? You may have some clutches getting flaky, and at 6 mil clicks, that could be a possibility.

I checked drum module, drum and fuser drives, they look good. Fuser parts are almost new and duplex/transport clutches the same. There are no smears at single sided copies. I am trying to find out why it smears on two sided copies, as the drive load seems to be the same...I suspend developer beads dropping on registration clutch for smears and the duplex side fences for wear causing duplex turn over jams.
Thanks a lot for your interesting Cobiray,Schooltech...

Check to see if there are smears on the back of single sided copies. Also check the lower fuser entrance guide for buildup - sometimes this can catch just enough that it doesn't cause a jam but the bump will scatter some unfused toner.
