    Ricoh 2400 wide format

I've got a client with an old Ricoh 2400 wide format. Still makes excellent quality prints.
He wanted the 2 roll option and an optional paper cassette (for 11 x 17 paper).
We found a parts 2400 with those installed, switched the paper roll drawer and installed the cassette option.
The paper drawer holding the 2 rolls only has a connector which when pushed in and seated, interfaces to the main body of the 2400.
The paper cassette has 2 wire connectors which plug into a board located under a cover beneath the paper drawer.

After installing both of these, the 2400 does not see either of these for paper choices. I could not find anywhere in user tools, SP's for the addition of paper sources.
In the manual, no settings either ?? Are there 2 different paper roll stands ? And you can't upgrade by adding a drawer from another system ?
As well, the paper cassette appears to be a plug and play option, yet the system does not show a choice for a cassette source of paper.

    Any help is much appreciated

The roll feeder should have 2 harnesses and 3 connectors interfaced with the machine.

SP 1960 Optional Paper Setting Enables installed options: Roll feeder (1 or 2 rolls),
paper cassette. This setting is not necessary if no
paper feed options are installed. (The default setting
is for the manual feed table.)
