imc300 mpc307 pcdu's error after ITB unit replacement

    Hoi,
We can't fully insert the pcdu's.
The ITB bias rollers are engaged (so in the printing position, facing downwards).
I think that is the issue?
We have not replaced the itb unit (it was just for practicing before going to customer, we have not many mpc307)
    Thanks in advance

Try and carefully remove the ITB Unit - access is from the right side, remove the fuser first to get a good access. IIRC you don't even need a tool for that.

Gift, i have respected the serv manual procedure. But still...
There is a little spring inside the machine at the rear side which i think has popped out it's position .
Ever time i remove or insert the itb unit it's making a cracking sound.
Can you remember if that is normal?
      Thanks

No that's not normal - can you make a picture of that "suspicios" area? I can compare your findings with our demo machine.

Re: imc300 mpc307 pcdu's error after ITB unit replacement

About a year ago some gentle member had post me a link for which i could drop pictures to, and then afterwards posted the link here.
That worked fine, but since i have cleaned up my computer it has gone lost.
                Anyone?

OK that spring looks a little bit "bent" compared to my MPC307 (guess IMC300 should look similar):

You might consider and "adjust" it with a needle nose plier. Beside that I find the ITB a bit stubborn to remove/insert and I used a little force than expected^^
On the second image you'll see the gear that does move the CMY engage mechanism - you can turn it by hand to adjust this manually.

Yes, something is off on that. Here is what mine looks like. Did you turn the ITB pressure release screw so the flat part is to the right before removing the K PCU? It's in the manual.

Edit the pic with your software, I use Photoscape X (free and it works well). Save the pic as a jpg at lower compression to reduce the file size. Upload to CTN. This way you don't have to use an online dropbox.

I think the spring is broken on one side because it always flips back up.
Could it be that the spring pulls the ITB bias rollers downwards?
Or is it just for anti static current removal?
                              Thanks in advance.
