Re: imc300 mpc307 pcdu's error after ITB unit replacement
Im lucky as most of my machines are on a 3 year or 5 year lease then we upgrade, so when I had the spring problem it was at its end of lease so we swapped it out.
I did strip it right down to the spring and made a mental note to deff not to do that at the customers site and hopefully never see that issue again.
Im very carefull when taking out the ITB and start to sweat everytime I feel any resistance! lol
Be lucky

Good luck and hope its just reshaping the spring as replacing it is a mission!

How did you manage to make an antenna out of it? That's not looking good, according to the parts manual this wire seems to be in "charge" () for the black transfer voltage so I guess it's important:

I'm not shure if you can bent it in to a shape that remains functional - plan B is to replace the contact spring but looking at the parts manual that's probably pretty much effort.
It could be that this spring was already broken before i removed the ITB unit...
Because of the ITB bias rollers facing up i have removed the ITB unit often to solve the upward bias rollers.Leave a comment:

If you take a look at the transfer belt assy can you see the spot were the spring is suppose to have contact with?Leave a comment:

Re: imc300 mpc307 pcdu's error after ITB unit replacement
I think the spring is broken on one side because it always flips back up.
Could it be that the spring pulls the ITB bias rollers downwards?
Or is it just for anti static current removal?
Thanks in advance.Leave a comment:

Yes, something is off on that. Here is what mine looks like. Did you turn the ITB pressure release screw so the flat part is to the right before removing the K PCU? It's in the manual.Attached FilesLeave a comment:

Re: imc300 mpc307 pcdu's error after ITB unit replacement
OK that spring looks a little bit "bent" compared to my MPC307 (guess IMC300 should look similar):

You might consider and "adjust" it with a needle nose plier. Beside that I find the ITB a bit stubborn to remove/insert and I used a little force than expected^^
On the second image you'll see the gear that does move the CMY engage mechanism - you can turn it by hand to adjust this manually.Leave a comment:
