MPC4504 Network extender card not functioning.

    [Misc] MPC4504 Network extender card not functioning.

    Hi everyone, is there any setting that i need to do to make my mpc4504 network extender card functioning ? cuz my on board network port already spoil causing by lightning strike. so on board is not functioning. normaly for older model like mpc4503 if happen same case due to lightning strike or network port damage i will just install this network card extender. then just do " restore iee 802.1x authentication to default " inside system setting interface setting. but for this model mpc4504 seems like not functioning. cannot do ping

    if you wonder what i mean by network extender card here i attach the image

    it also called as Network interface option card , USB Device Server Option Type M19(D3BC-28,-29)

    i also already follow step inside service manual but still the same.

      Did you plug in that USB loop cable? Is the USB printer port on the controller functional?
      Can you enter the dedicated web interface of that card? Default IP is 192.168.100.100 or http://RXmacadress
      I think there's no way to configure that option via operation panel.

          hi, yes i plug the usb loop cable. yes usb port on the controller is function can print using usb. ouh the optional interface got default ip ? maybe i miss that inside service manual. will take a look and change my pc ip to try that. anyway thank you for response. much appreciate.

              Hi, just update for this case. yes i missed the step where i should set the IP Address at Web UI.
