    pro c7100

    I have a problem with a pro c7100.

a technician had replaced the fusion belt pressure roller and it was damaged again.
the customer called me, I put in a new roll and he told me it's getting damaged again.
There are no locked bearings and no damaged bushings.

If anyone has a hint, I have no idea why.

Thank you very much in advance.

If you have already replaced it and it had occurred again, it means that the principal problem had persisted.
Did the tech. come to know about the cause of damage of pressure roller? Any shaft misalignment, foreign body presence, squeaking noises from the fuser unit etc.
Unless, the actual information it shared,it is difficult to comment.

      the equipment makes no noise.
I checked the function and didn't find it in the strange one.
I will go back to the client and take a closer look.

      thanks in the meantime.

Generally speaking there are multiple parts in the fusing unit that should be replaced together. Not doing so is just asking for trouble.

          ending the service.

as I said I went to change the pressure roller of the fusion belt and after a few days it was damaged again.

I went back to the client and specified everything.
in the upper part of the fusion there was nothing with a problem, but in the lower part a pressure roller bearing was mounted inverted, I put it in the correct position and tested it.
I believe I have solved the problem.

It gets complicated when we take a problem from another unqualified technician who has a defect.
I would never have imagined that at the bottom of the fusion there was a bearing upside down (bearing ring)
in the first exchange I specified the entire upper part and looked at the lower part as well, but I was only able to verify by completely disassembling the fusion.

          thank you all.
