    Ricoh 8000 copier problem

Hello,278080231_722534252260093_5495003609032476368_n.jpg I have a Ricoh mp 8000 Sometimes there is fading in the printing of half the paper and the other half is fine, but the test image is very good, I cleaned the lenses but no change, but sometimes it prints excellent and lasts for a while while it comes back again with the same fade. Although this happens without me doing anything to the machine.

Looks like some umidity arount the drum area, you have to turn on the fans (update firmware first). Where are you from?

Yes, there is a problem with the device's hard disk, the device has already given the code sc-8##, but the test copy is very excellent and does not fade.

A few things to check and do here. Firstly check out what the other tech suggested.

        Then:

        1) Full service. Optics, drum, dev, laser, laser shield, transfer belt, filters, everything.

        2) how old is your drum and developer? May need replacing

        3) is your developer unit leaking developer? Even though it may produce a decent print it can still have insufficient developer in the tank. Take the unit out and check the amount of developer.
Also do a sky shot copy (blackout) and send us a picture of that. It will also help determine if there is enough developer.

        4) check your polygon mirror for a build up of anything.

        5) check your laser glass shield. Check laser mirrors

        All the best friend
