    eCopy Quality Issue

I'm having trouble with the scan quality from MPc3500 and MPc4500 machines. Parts of the scanned image are replaced by blank areas, as if that portion of the original was plain paper, eg wheelchair wheels, windows, people's eyes (interesting result with this last one!)

The Twain driver is up-to-date, the firmware is up-to-date and the eCopy is at the latest version too. Ricoh seem to be drawing a bit of a blank with this one.

    Any ideas anybody?

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris

edit: I forgot to mention, it's fine when doing bog-standard SMB scanning.

It's fine scanning Twain direct to PC - I'll try the reinstallation of the program and see where to go from there.

Thanks, and I'll let you know the outcome.

Clear the scanning area with SP5801-9.
