Ricoh aficio 700 using to much toner help

I got a problem with a aficio 700, the customer was complaining it using to much toner it's average copy was 35,000 to 40,000 per bottle, now its doing only 20,000 to 25,000. I have check all the problem connecting to this but still no change. The DV was changed 170,000+ copies ago. Their was a layer of toner all over the drum unit and Dv unit so maybe I think it dumping to much toner in the DV unit so I change the settings still no change.
    Any solution for this

    Thanks

Tell them to close the lid when they copy.
Or set the default to erase background while lid is up.
It tends to suck up toner and back-up the recycle system.
Overflow in the cleaning system goes to the waste tank.
Waste tank should last 150K minimum.
If it is full before then, CLOSE THE LID.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

The toner recycle system may bee cloged, recycling pump is not working properly or may bee damaged. You can allso refer to RTB 21, No.: RA293021.

check the Vt display, Vts 4.00,Vtmax 4.70,Vtmin.

take out the toner bottle and sky shoot until the priting become white or toner come out, put back the toner bottle give the machine load back.

print out one copy see the print quality, if ok service the drum unit and do the ID sensor inz 3-001. and TD sensor inz.
