    C4504 part

    Can someone tell me what this is for? It is called Grip:Sheet:Rollingeveloper in the PC. It is located on the inside of the front ITB cover on a C4504. Thanks.

      It is used during installation to the PCDU seals for the C4504/5504/6004. Refer to your service manual, Removal of PCDU Seals: MP C4504/C5504/C6004. Also used when replacing a PCDU. The manual is not clear about replacing just the Development Unit.

          As of a couple of years ago it isn't necessary anymore. There's a firmware update and a modified dev unit that pulls the new dev unit seals back automatically when a new unit is installed.
          It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Hit it.
