    im c300, msg printing speed limited because internal cooling fan active. cust has this msg on copier. manual references cooling fan running, should have no effect on using copier. i texted ricoh, they had never heard of it.

    Sounds like the controller is running to hot. Is the ambient temperature of the room it is in within specifications.

      You should start figuring out wich sensor gives that message - you can check the temp measured by the ambient sensor via SP,
      if these values seem not plausible you might have a bad sensor. Otherwise should test ALL existing fans via output check in case some aren't monitored by the electronics and won't put out SC codes.

      From the looks of the image in service manual the the controller CPU has no cooling on top, not even a passive one - I'm not shure if this is accurate,
      so I'd take a look - perhaps there is a passive one on it and one of it's push pins became loose.

      I think you already make shure the machine has been placed properly with enough space to "breathe".

        Replace all the filters..
        This is a common alarm and it will slow down printing by half
