    Not seeing a 2 to 1 feature on a Ricoh MP 4055

Hello Everyone... One of my customers asked me to show them where the 2 to 1 selection was and when I got there ...To my surprise, There was none... I'm thinking Firmware?? I came back to the office and fired up 4 other units other than a 4055 ( didn't have one) , Similiar year... and there it was "2 to 1"... Firmware??? Or some other means of getting there on the Panel ?? Thanks for any input, Laser 801

Ricoh doesn't put that setting on the copy screen by default, but you can easily add it.

    1-User Tools/Settings
    2-Copier/Document Server Features
    3-Customize Function:Copier

Then pick a button that is currently on the copier screen but unused, like ID Card Copy or something, and switch it out for 2->1 Copy.

    Cheers, mate.

It is called Combine. You can combine up to at least 8 pages onto one sheet. Download the User's Guide from Ricoh-usa.com and go to Copying - Combined Copying.

You must be new to Ricoh because it has been called that for over 20 years.

Duplex & Combine is a default button on the Normal Operation Panel and the Classic copy function screen for the SOP.
