I believe that machine does support Encryption, but models of that age have to be set on the machine itself. It isn't displayed in the WIM.

Leave smtp Auth encryption at "Auto"

On the machine, go to User Tools / System settings/ File Transfer/ SMTP Server, then Turn on "Use secure Server (SSL)"

P.S.....please go back and delete your duplicate post

Thanks I'll try that when I stop in there next week.

Sorry for the duplicate. Just tried to delete it but I don't see an option to do so when I edit the post.

A lot of scan to email settings are best done from the operation panel and not WIM.

You should be able click on Edit and then will have a delete option. Assuming that no one has replied to it.

I tried searching for a delete button when I went to edit but there isn't one available.

Maybe it is something that is available only to Contributors. My options when I click on Edit are Save | Go Advanced | Delete | Cancel
