Machines are still fairly scarce right now so it makes sense the prices would be fairly high.

Also...as techs we're usually only privvy to the "ballpark" figure.
MOST of us aren't sales people so aren't really up on Ricoh machine pricing...other than parts.

Thats true but I'm only looking for a ballpark figure.

Sales people don't know the true cost of the machines, either. The owners always add in other costs (rightly so) that are on top of the cost from the manufacturer. Only the owners know. And maybe the the financial people.

Depending on the project size, competitors offers, special agreements and whatnot the final prices for the customer usually end up lower though.
Other costs to consider are labour time for pre-installation, installation/IT support on site, logistics/delivery, first toner set (out of the box most professional MFPs don't come with any toner installed).

All in all some offers aren't as cheap as they seem and other might not be as expensive if they include more positions than just hardware.
Thanks Gift. That gives me an idea of what I'm looking at.

Thank you everyone for your feedback
