Hello colleagues!
Recently, I have repeatedly encountered a situation of frankly poor quality of the wires of the charging corotron for wide-format AD020089 machines. Previously, when pulling, the wire simply ruptured at the point of spot welding to the rings. I had to take a few pieces with me to the customer and make several attempts. Lately, I've come across the fact that the new wire is a little shorter than it should be. And in order to tighten it and get it into the standard fasteners, I had to add a little length to it with the help of a spring ring. After that, the prints sometimes show stripes in the direction of the main scan (across the sheet movement) with a width of about 100mm at intervals of 250-270mm. And judging by their nature, it is very similar to problems with the charge. Moreover, if you print a checkerboard, then there have never been any problems.
Have you come across original defective wires?
What do you think about this?
Thanks in advance for any feedback.
