    SC 915-03

Good afternoon colleagues, I have an intermittent but constant SC915-03 error on a PRO907. It is the printer model, not the 907EX. The service manual talks about the Egret CPU board overheating and to replace it.
Has this problem ever happened to anyone before?
    Thanks in advance

From looking at the service manual sections on the Egret add on controller, I would say you either have problem with an exhaust, the Egret controller CPU fan on the Egret Controller box intake filter. The Egret controller is mounted in the lower box on the back of the Pro 907. It is the vertical rectangular box below the GW controller box. With the age of the 907, the fan motors might be heading south. Not having the 907 catalog, only have the EX one, I can't be sure but the filter and box fan would be the same as the ones for the GW controller. You may also want to clean out any dust bunnies from both boxes.

Also check the space requirements for the machine. Make sure nothing's blocking the air flow and that there's nothing too close to the sides of the machine.
