    IMC4500 printing jobs storage problerms

    Hi,

Customer uses the option delayed printing, print jobs are stored and users get their prints using the task mode.
However, every month they get the error that the print jobs are not saved/stored because of an error, saying that jobs could not be saved

Strange, only do a printing application clear in SM5801-008 will solve the problem, temporary . . . because a month later same problerm.

    What causes this?

    anyone?

    Thnx in advance
    gr George

Users are not deleting their jobs after they have printed them. Check to see if there is a setting in user tools to automatically delete after a fixed length of time.

Also instead of delayed print, they should be using print to document server to send the jobs to their individual doc server folders. That way only those who don't clear documents after printing will be unable to print. Document server can also be set to auto delete after a fixed number of days.

Did you check if they use the latest drivers and proper port configuration?
