Aficio Ricoh 1045 continous Open Cover error

I have a digital Aficio Ricoh 1045 copier which upon finishing a copying job After switching off and the on could not show which cover was open but remained with 'cover open message'. I checked on the front cover switches but they are ok although it does not detect that the front cover is closed or open and does on beep upon openning or closing it. All other covers i.e the ADF, the side cover, the lower tray doors and the duplex covers are functioning ok they even beep as supposed. What can i do to resolve this problem?

I'd change the wafty door switches on both the front door and up beside the fuser, they're notoriously crappy.

Try doing a Larry Grayson at it too...showing my age there

Check the fuses on the power supply too, one of them might have popped, they give cover open messages too.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

I'll bet on the interchange cover too. The one above the side cover.

Change the 3 switches above the fuser. One of them is bad.

Infact after checking at the Fuses on the power supply I found out that one 6.3A fuse was popped. I replaced it and there i was smiling all the way while closing the covers. Thanks for your help guys, U are gr8.
