    Ricoh Pro C5100s Service Mode

Client bought from a broker and I'm unable to get in to service mode using Reset-806182-C hold. No admin lock. Even checked to make sure going to User Tools > System Settings > Administrator Tools > Service Mode Lock. Service Mode Lock doesn't exist on this one I can find.
Last time I worked on one of these it was a few years older, is service mode code different on newer models or am I missing something?

Service mode access code can be changed from with System SP. A common code used by those pissed about the new 6 digit code was the old 3 digit code entered twice. You might try that and also try or maybe ABCCBA where ABC is the old 3 digit code.

That was before my time so I don't know what that code was. Can you help me out?

I had read the same thing from someone else a few years ago. I was just the first one to see your post.

The sad part is I'm not sure how good this tech was. I've already replaced a wire harness and a board because they were to lazy to put a few screws back in and it pinched and cut a wire. Pulled the upper back cover and a fan fell out because the plastic where the screws went in is stripped. I'm just hoping that's the worst of it

Was hoping some one can help me out again. Can't get bit switches 5193 and 5895 to change for EFI communication. It's been a long time since I worked on one of these, what am I missing?
