Ricoh Alficio MP C3002 - Enabling Remote Panel Operation

    Hi all,

I work for a company that has some Ricoh printers in different parts of the world. Currently, at the moment we are having problems setting up scan to email, so to prevent having to bother the users to test it, I'd like to enable remote panel operation.

Does anyone know how to get this enabled it? I have remote access to the printer via the private IP, but I believe to enable the remote panel, requires physical access to the printer to turn it on from the panel settings. I spent around 20 minutes with the user trying to locate it. Does anyone know where it's found?

I got the user to login as admin, and navigated to the settings options, but still couldn't locate the required options.

    Thank you.

Unfortunately the 3002 is too old to support remote panel operation, MPCxx04 and MPxx55's and newer only.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Partially correct. Not available on the 02s but it was introduced with the 03s. Check your Product Support Guides.

Ricoh launched the 03s in July 2013, just 3 months short 10 years ago.
