In paper feed direction (Sub Scan) or across paper feed direction (Main Scan)?

    How wide?

    Spacing? Random? Even?

    Distance between lines?

probably the pcu. open the right door, lift the drum shield and check the drum. It should not have any black lines on it.close door and start a copy job, listen for the paper being fed, open the door after 1 second and the paper should be at the drum. check the drum again. all that should be on the drum is the image you are copying. If there are lines on the drum running around the circumference of the drum then either the drum blade is shot or the charge roller is dirty. This means either replace the pcu or service it. which course of action depends on previous history.
