    IM C2500 scanning issue

I have a IM C2500 set up as scan to folder . It works on 4 out of the 5 computers for the customer. The 5th one will work if you reboot the computer. If it goes into sleep mode it loses connection for scanning. Tried resetting up a new folder on this computer with the same results. It is on a windows 11 machine. Any ideas?

Most likely it is losing network connection entirely. Is it going into Windows sleep mode or a hardware sleep? Is it a wired connection or WiFi? Is wake on LAN turned? If you are using an on board interface on the computer mother board you may have to enable it in CMOS UEIF firmware setting before you can turn it on in Windows. It is wired. Still prints. Just won't scan. Happens when that 1 computer goes into sleep mode. All the other computers still are able to scan
Will give that a try tomorrow. Thank you

I have seen similar with a failing multi-port switch.

Or - in case it's a managed switch - bad configuration (energy saving).

I think in Windows detailed energy saving setting you can also adjust some NIC related stuff.

Ended up uninstalling the machine and starting from scratch. Working right now.
